Our Opinion
After a second vist in December 2012, Jai at TravelLab has reported back and the Banyan Tree is just getting better and better. Superb service, excellent food & beverage and of course a beautiful Pool Villa were amongst the many highlights. These Villas have the wow factor and the pools are surprisingly large unlike many other properties. The resort is stunning in every way.
You can head off and exploring the Laguna complex of hotels where you can sign food & beverage to your room. It is definitely worthwhile upgrading beyond the Deluxe Villas to get your own private pool in set in the gardens of your villa.
Location
Banyan Tree Phuket is located on the shores of Bang Tao Bay in the northwest of Phuket. It is part of the Laguna Phuket complex which as five luxury hotels, six palm-fringed lagoons, 600 acres of parkland, three kilometers of pristine beach and an outstanding array of recreational and dining facilities.
Accommodation
There are 150 luxurious villas, each with kingsize bed, minibar, tea and coffee facilities, airconditioning, DVD and CD player, sitting area, open-air sunken bath and private garden patio.
