This wonderful hotel is a firm favourite with TravelLab. The Oberoi offers a beachfront sanctuary surrounded by lush gardens and frangipani. This hotel offers impeccable service and style, perfect for guests looking for a touch of luxury.
Location
Set along a perfect beachfront location and only a 30 minute car transfer from the airport.
Accommodation
Oberoi Bali’s rooms and villas come with Satellite television & DVD player, broadband internet access, electronic safe, personal bar and 24 Hours room service. All bedrooms are fully air-conditioned and furnished with teak and Balinese artefacts. Bathrooms are glass-walled and sunken baths look out into private walled courtyard gardens. As all our rooms are non smoking, it is requested that guests smoke outside the room.
Room Types:
Lanais
The thatched-roof lanai rooms are built in clusters of four around a central rock pond. Each lanai rooms has a private terrace and measure 55 – 60 square metres. The bedroom is air conditioned and you can choose either a king-size Balinese bed or Hollywood twin beds. The bathroom is set in a private walled garden and appointed with a marble sunken bath and double vanity counter. Some have separate shower and a walk-in closet with ample storage space.
Luxury Villas
The thatched-roof villas are havens of peace and privacy. They range in size from 200 square metres to 400 square metres. Each has its own lushly landscaped garden courtyard with a rock pond. A raised pavilion provides a shady retreat for alfresco dining and a private balcony overlooks the beach or gardens. The bedrooms are individually designed with a theme that reflects each villa’s floral name. The floral theme is carried through to the specially commissioned oil paintings and the handcarved wooden headboard of the king-size, four poster Balinese bed. The artworks, and the softly toned fabrics featuring local motifs, reflect the quality and intricacy of Balinese handicrafts. The bedroom d2cor is further enhanced by opulent marble flooring, and teak wood finishes. The luxurious bathroom feature open-air garden, secluded behind high stone walls. Each bathroom has a walk-in closet and luggage storage area, two vanity counters, separate stalls for shower and toilet, and a marble sunken bath.
Luxury Villa with Pool
Nine of the villas have their own sparkling swimming pool, measuring up to 10 metres by 6 metres, set in the palatial courtyard.
Royal Villa Hibiscus with Pool
The Royal Villa Hibiscus with pool, has two bathrooms, a kitchenette and a separate living room with traditional thatched roof.
Restaurants and Bars
Frangipani:
Frangipani Cafe is a wonderful place for alfresco breakfast, fresh seafood and light meals. Ideal for breakfast by the beach under the palms.
Kura Kura:
This elegant restaurant, Kura Kura serves Indonesian, Asian and finest Continental cuisines under an impressively high thatched roof.
The Amphitheatre:
The Amphitheatre themed Buffet Dinner and Balinese dance performances 2/3 times a week. Here you can take the opportunity to experience Balinese culture while relaxing over a candlelit dinner.
Kayu Bar:
The colourful Kayu Bar with its ocean views is an intimate spot for an aperitif or after dinner drinks.
