Pangkor Laut Resort
Pangkor Laut Resort is an idyllic hideaway located on a private island. It surrounded by a lush and unspoiled two million year old rainforest, with coves of beautiful beaches surrounded by an emerald sea. The resort has 148 Malaysian-style luxury villas , each elegantly designed and furnished, yet complements and blends in with the surrounding natural environment. As the island is only accessible to the guests of the Resort and Estates, it makes the perfect private holiday or honeymoon getaway.
Our Opinion
This place is World Class and feels like the perfect island hideaway. Whether you need a stop over on your way to Australia, or this is your ultimate destination it comes highly recommended. It works ok as a single centre but works much better as a twin-centre as you must arrive into Kuala Lumpur in the morning and your return transfer will arrive back in the evening. And usually the morning flight on Malaysian Airlines is much cheaper than the overnight flight.
Location
Pangkor Laut Resort is located on the privately owned island of Pangkor Laut off the West Coast of Peninsular Malaysia. From Kuala Lumpur is a road transfer to the coastal town of Lumut and ferry taking a total of approximately 4 hours. Alternatively, an internal flight on Berjaya Air from Subang (Kuala Lumpur City Airport) to Pangkor Airport where it is a short transfer by speedboat to Pangkor Laut Resort.
