Sandos Caracol Eco Resort & Spa is set in lush grounds on the edge of an exotic jungle, the resort has been developed in a natural area surrounded by mangroves and lagoons. Sandos Caracol is also on a superb white sandy beach and offers plenty of watersports.
Our Opinion
This is a good 4-star resort, and gets consistently good reviews. If you want to maximize value for money and get a decent all around product, this generally should be at the top of your list.
Location
Sandos Caracol is set by a superb, white sandy beach, just 10 minutes from the charming town of Playa Del Carmen and a 40-minute drive from the International Airport at Cancun.
Accommodation
Sandos Caracol has 700 rooms scattered around the resort in low rise buildings. Rooms are large and tastefully decorated in tropical colours and offer air conditioning, ceiling fans, mini-bar, hair-dryer, satellite TV and more.

Standard Rooms – these rooms are garden, jungle or pool view rooms that can accommodate up to 2 adults and 2 children.
Standard Ocean View Rooms as Standard Rooms with partial ocean views.
Deluxe Rooms with Jacuzzi these rooms offer one King sized bed and a sofa bed and have upgraded decor. Bathrooms have a whirlpool tub.
Junior Suite with Jacuzzi these rooms are larger with a living area plus a terrace and whirlpool/Jacuzzi.
