Zilwa Attitude
Zilwa Attitude is different and unique with its breathtaking view on the 5 islands of the northern coast plus its 4 beaches and two small and private islands.
The hotel pays tribute to the national heritage: Mauritian writers, painters, architects and craftsmen. The contemporary rustic chic architecture and Mauritian design of the hotel take their source of inspiration in the traditional homes with their thatch, tin or shingle roofs, their wax-polished beton cire floors, their rough walls, their bright colours, floated wood, ceruse and rattan furniture reminders of islands lifestyle together with a few design details giving a special style and atmosphere to this hotel.
True to the hotel concept, guests can discover in any of the 5 special theme restaurants a delicious cuisine, a blend of spicy and exquisite tastes, a culinary know-how acquired from the cultural diversity of the island.
Our Opinion
Zilwa has a magnificent setting. The lobby rises above the rest of the resort and when you walk in from the front door this hotel has a total ‘wow’ factor. The view is like no other with the pools cascading down to the beach and beyond. The rooms are minimalist and stylish but this is not a luxury property. The property has plenty of space, a great choice of restaurants plus a huge amount to do (or just chill on the beach!). Highly recommended.
Location
Zilwa Attitude is situated on the north coast of Mauritius, in Kalodyne, close to the fishermen’s village of Grand Gaube which is near the northern tip of the island.
